Ok, so we finally got our I800 on Saturday. We have been eagerly waiting for this piece of paper for a while now and we finally got it over the weekend. It is basically our last okay to adopt from the United States. Now we just wait for our TA and possibly an update on Adam.
Theresa & John... Congrats!! Cmon TA! I'm stuck in DC with this blizzard and was really hoping to come back to a travel date!

ReplyDeleteStart now worrying your agency over the Article 5 letter that they must send to the GZ office. You should get a copy of the letter from NVC via email and/or snail mail. Make sure they send it as soon as they get it. Ours took a week to come in after I-800 and our agency took 17 days to send it to GZ. With CNY that delay added a month to our wait for a TA. I-800 was originally approved 1/11 and NVC letter 1/18. It looks like the A5 will be issued on 2/25 and the TA no sooner than 3/5. We hope to travel by 3/18. Hope this helps you in figuring out your timeline and hope to see you over there. Maybe your timeframe can speed up compared to ours. God Bless, coy
